Sharing my bed again

Chris is moving home. We have become closer and closer and are really great friends again and decided we can continue to work on things together while living in the same home. It is nice to have him next to me while I sleep again. My bed felt so empty and without him next to me at night, reality often slapped me in the face. But even though he is moving back home for now, he has taken a job up in Slave Lake and will be home only about once a month. Its a great job and a great opportunity and we will be able to be debt free by end of September or October and eventually we will work on being closer in distance again. Things are still tough but we are doing our best and really focusing on being best friends and making sure whatever choices we make, that the kids stay first in our minds and we do what is best for them. Chris is a great dad, a great man. I am happy he is home.

Calliope is 4!!!

Calliope is such a little angel!!! I love her to pieces. Her sense of humor and loveliness is great to witness. We just had family over for her birthday. My parents Tate and Kipp and their families, Chris's dad and step mom. It was delightful for her. She loved her cake and each of her presents. When we gave her her bike, she was so amazed she was stunned. We had to convince her it was for her and she could barely believe it. When she finally believed us she was so so happy!! It was funny to watch. She is so cute! Sometimes it is hard to take in how fast time really goes. Her first four years flew by for me. I hope the next four don't go by so fast. ( but I am sure they will seem to go by even faster than the first four)

Owen cut his hair yet again!!!! grrrrrrrr

Not sure why Owen keeps cutting his hair, but enough already, I've had enough!!!! This time I sent the kids to get dressed while I finished getting ready for school. When I went in their room I found Calliope and Owen in the top bunk and Owen said Calliope gave him the scissors. Oh my goodness!! I have no time for this. He told me several times, in fact, that it was Calliopes fault because she gave him the scissors. LOL!!! Poor boy had to go to school with hair like this because I needed to get to school. Luckily our next door neighbour is a hair dresser and she had time that evening to fix his hair. Sorry I don't have any after pictures, I was sure I took during pictures but can't locate them, I will add them later if I do find them.
